Bear Lake '09

Our first camping trip of the year was the last weekend in June. We spent two days at Bear Lake with my side of the family. Thanks Shawn and Sara for the idea. This was also the inaugural weekend for our trailer. The kids loved the water once they adjusted to it. I had a friend tell me before we went that Bear Lake is a beautiful blue color but it is cold. Wow, was she right!

The fun for the day was linking up with everyone and somebody would pull the group out and then they would slowly come back in with the tide.

Then there is the day after the fun when we see how badly everyone is sunburned....

Loopy's legs, Buck's shoulders and back, Bubba's face, Monkey's back, Sara's legs....ohhh we have learned our lesson....keep your shirt on and apply sunscreen every hour when playing in the water.
